All Kidney Patients Support Group Monthly Zoom Meeting Featuring Wilson Du
Wilson Du is a kidney transplant recipient, endurance athlete, founder of The Mission HQ, and a Donor/Patient Outreach Consultant with the National Kidney Registry (NKR).
After spending more than five and a half years on dialysis while losing over 130 pounds and rebuilding his health, Wilson received a life-saving living donor kidney transplant in March 2022. His journey has since become his mission.
Today, Wilson works with the National Kidney Registry to help patients navigate the path to living donor kidney transplantation. His focus is on expanding access to transplant by connecting patients with proven strategies, education, and programs that can help them pursue a living donor transplant—including many patients who have been told to wait, don’t yet qualify at their current center, or simply don’t know where to begin.
Having personally experienced the fear, uncertainty, and frustration of kidney failure, Wilson now dedicates his life to helping others move from dialysis toward transplant. His goal is simple: to ensure that every patient who has a realistic opportunity for transplantation knows their options and has access to the resources that can help make it possible.
