  a half years on dialysis while losing over 130 pounds and rebuilding his 
 health\, Wilson received a life-saving living donor kidney transplant in M
 arch 2022. His journey has since become his mission.\nToday\, Wilson works
  with the National Kidney Registry to help patients navigate the path to l
 iving donor kidney transplantation. His focus is on expanding access to tr
 ansplant by connecting patients with proven strategies\, education\, and p
 rograms that can help them pursue a living donor transplant—including ma
 ny patients who have been told to wait\, don't yet qualify at their curren
 t center\, or simply don't know where to begin.\nHaving personally experie
 nced the fear\, uncertainty\, and frustration of kidney failure\, Wilson n
 ow dedicates his life to helping others move from dialysis toward transpla
 nt. His goal is simple: to ensure that every patient who has a realistic o
 pportunity for transplantation knows their options and has access to the r
